Pestiside.hu — After a six-year break, RTL Klub will relaunch its "Való Világ" ("The Real World") reality series this fall. And with a real splash! According to Blikk, one of the would-be participants in the new VV is an HIV-positive man suspected of deliberately infecting dozens of women with the disease. Zoltán K., who had been cleared of the charges but is still facing more time in court, said he wanted to "open people's eyes" to the fact that the disease is actually not that easy to contract, so they shouldn't be afraid of people with HIV.

District VII Woman Makes Early Claim to "Worst Mother of the Year" Award
Pestiside.hu — A 36-year-old Budapest woman is currently under preliminary detention on suspicion of drugging her teenage daughter and pimping her out to Turkish men at the Orczy tér market. The awfulness apparently began when one of the Turks asked the woman if she would let her 15-year-old daughter go "party" with him. After initially resisting her mother's suggestion that she go, the girl gave in and gave herself up to the Turk and two of his buddies, but later on developed cold feet, which her mother remedied by plying her with some form of narcotic. The whole sorry episode was replayed at least three occasions before the police nabbed the evil bitch at her District VII apartment. Ugh. [nana.hu]

In addition to Krisztina Polgár, former Miss World Hungary Szilvi Freire also left without taking her clothes off despite earlier promises, leaving former playmate Marcsi Bánovics to be the only female celebrity present to strip down all the way to reveal her bra. XpatLoop.com - SPORTS Channel RSS Feed — "Sunday afternoon I finally went to the horse races at Kincsem Park in Budapest. This venue was built in 1925, and named after the horse Kincsem that won 54 races in the 1870's. It is very easy to get to - just take Metro 2 to the Pillango Ut stop. Go around the station through the tunnel and then follow the path along the white railings (bear left). Amazingly, entry is free and refreshments are cheap, e.g. pints of beer are only 300 ft. You can buy the day's program (Turf) for 350 ft. Being a foreigner and having never been to a horse race, I was nervous going to the window for the first bet, but everyone I spoke to was helpful and patient.
